My Happy Place - 1/4/2018
I moved here 7 months ago & I love it here. I am a retired school teacher. I have found many other ladies living nearby who are retired & loving life. Housing is very expensive here. Reasonably priced houses sell almost immediately. If you find one you like, pounce on it & expect to pay full price or more than the asking price. I love the local music & arts here. I have not gotten to the Farmers’ Market yet, but I have heard good things about it. Lots of little local places to eat. Not many food chains or stores you find in lots of small & large cities. It keeps me from being tempted to spend extra money. There are lots of trails to walk. Parks are nearby for little kids. I am fortunate to live in a lovely neighborhood close to my grandchildren. The schools get high marks. I am thrilled to be able to live in the little town of Carrboro. If I need to shop, Chapel Hill & Durham are not that far away.
